A recent study by the federal reserve showed that only 9.8% of the Latinx community invests in individual stocks. And we get it, it's not easy to start investing when we have little to no financial literacy being shared in our homes and in our schools. Not to mention, Latina's are hit the hardest when it comes to equal pay coming in at 55 cents for every dollar paid to a white man.

It's easy to say that as a community we have to start investing but we also have to consider why we are behind, as well as what can potentially be stopping us from participating in the first place.
As children of immigrants, we have been brought up under strained circumstances with fears pertaining to obtaining work, and a deep scarcity mindset as every penny mattered and contributed to food on the table and a bill in our homes. For most of us, our understanding of money is misconstrued, making us much more emotionally attached to money than we need to be. This type of toxic relationship towards money keeps us from being able to use it as the tool it was intended to be.
Part of your investing journey should involve healing.
Money wounds are centered at the beginning of the program and are acknowledged throughout the curriculum. We have a module solely focusing on your current relationship with money. Yes, it is that important. As a cohort, we will put in the work to identify where we currently stand as individuals with our money relationship as well as what limited perspectives need to shift. We firmly believe that in order to become a successful investor, it is imperative to move through this type of work. In this module, you will have several videos on the topic, worksheets to help guide you, reading material to help you shift during this process, and group coaching. Meet Your Instructor
A Cali native and proud Latina, Linda Garcia spent 17 years working in the TV and film industry helping well-recognized TV networks, movie studios, and streaming services build programming for the U.S. Hispanic market. Despite enjoying the work, Linda knew there was more to life than working to make someone else rich. Eventually, she took the knowledge she gained and used it to launch the Let There Be Luz podcast: a weekly podcast aimed to channel one’s spiritual journey, which Linda concluded at its 101th episode.
In 2019, after relocating to Dallas, Linda’s spiritual journey led her to what she considers her life’s purpose: to help the Latinx community heal the generational money wounds that prevent them from achieving wealth. In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, Linda launched her first beginners stock market course and created a rapidly growing community of Latinx investors on Patreon and Instagram known as In Luz We Trust. Today Linda is a published children’s book co-author, a self-made business owner, and a guiding Luz for thousands of BIPOC who are looking to break free from limiting and toxic money mentalities.

I believe that the first and most crucial step to investing is to invest in yourself. I witnessed a massive change in my mindset as soon as I started to uplevel my content intake. I invested in educators that I resonated with and provided valuable information.
But that wasn't always easy. I was in complete lack mentality and many times unable to make the space for money to even present itself. I have been homeless, couch-surfing with gracious folks. I was in gangs looking for belonging and became a mother at only 14 years old looking for love. I had a secret drug addiction that almost destroyed my life. I grew up with an alcoholic father and a mentally ill mother. I had every reason to give up and after exhaustion with all of the trauma I was facing, I did try to give up. I attempted three times but for a reason beyond me, I am still here.
I believe that when we make space for what we really want in life then we give the Universe an opportunity to deliver it to us. I believe that when things or experiences are given to us for free, it then loses their value and their power.
I believe that if you are unable to invest in financial literacy with time or with money, then it will be extremely challenging to start investing in the stock market. I believe this is something that should be worked on first before investing in a course like this.
I understand if at this point in time this is a course that may feel impossible to invest in. If you truly want to take it, then set the intention, make the space, and see what happens.

It's fun and while there are days or periods where it certainly feels like the picture above, it's not always like that. The stock market is not a get-rich-quick scheme. The beauty about the time you've put into the market is that your stocks are exposed to less risk. Shares I bought 8 years ago are nowhere near the price they are currently trading at, therefore some drops or annual corrections in the market are easier to experience because it is trading nowhere near my buy in price. The stock market is a long-term game.

FAQs
Should I take this program if I am already investing?
This program is specifically designed for beginners, however if you are already investing and are not confident in the market, still not familiar with the lingo, feel intimidated when making investment decisions and have been able to identify money wounds, then this program is for you.
What if I already took WREAM in the past?
If you already took WREAM, have not fully begun your investing journey, and have one foot in and one foot out, then STACKS is definitely for you. In STACKS we will take deep dive with new modules and provide live support along the way. The group coaching will enhance your experience and help clarify the information you are learning.
When should I register for the program?
You should register during the open enrollment period for registration or join the waitlist. As soon as open enrollment closes you will no longer be able to register for the program as it will have already begun. Enrollment is currently closed.
Are there prerequisites for the program?
No, there is nothing you need to prepare with prior to the program.
How do I reserve my spot in the program?
A waitlist does not guarantee your spot in the program. Our program is in high demand and sells out quickly. Your reservation is made once you have chosen the best payment option and your payment is received.
Is there a limit to how many times I can rewatch the program?
There is no limit to the number of times you can rewatch our program. We do encourage our students to rewatch the program as needed. Because the best teacher is experienced, we feel that once you have moved through the process and revisit the program, this increases not only retention but also an increased level of understanding.
Is this only for Latinx women?
This program was created by a Latina, child of immigrants, the teachings are from years of personal experience and the experience is used as a teaching tool. There is a major financial disparity in communities of color. Latina’s are currently making 55 cents for every dollar a white man makes in the United States. This means that it takes 1 year and 11 months for a Latina to make what a white man makes. Latina Equal Pay Day is on December 8th. We see investing as a viable aid to build wealth and help with these disparities. If you can identify and or empathize with these issues then we invite you to join.
How long will I have access to the program?
The stock market is continuously evolving, shaping and reshaping, depending on the climate of the country. We are granting lifetime access as this ensures that you receive updated content as the stock market and our program evolves. This ensures that you not only view the course multiple times but also apply what you have learned to your personal experience as you move through all the inevitable changes.
Do you offer scholarships?
We believe that there is an emotional component that has to be overcome when investing, that not only pertains to the stock market but also towards investments made on our personal betterment or skill improvement. If this emotional component isn’t addressed first, we find that it will be very challenging to begin an investing journey. Meaning if you can’t invest in yourself it will be challenging to invest in the market. We consider making the investment in this program as the first step towards your journey. However, we understand hardships and the invaluable information that is offered via our program. We center scholarships for DACA recipients once a year, and offer scholarships open to all BIPOC several times throughout the year via an application process to help us determine needs in our community. Scholarship opportunities are periodically on our social platforms.
If I exercise the payment plan and I pay for the first half of the program, can I keep access for the first program?
No, the program can’t be purchased in sections. While we do offer a payment plan if your second half has not been paid you will be unable to access the course in its entirety.
